One thing I’ve noticed about Cape Town accents is the Black and Afrikaans South Africans sound more American when pronouncing certain words while the South Africans of English descent sound more posh British. The way you say or, curls, words, where and here sound very American. Then again the way you said theatre and carbonated was very British and you definitely don’t sound Indian lol, who told you that?
