Grown Talks Virtual Summit was created for you the Entrepreneur, Boss Babe, the Wellness Guru, lover of Healthy Happy hair and the woman who is on a mission to REINVENT themselves. Grown Talks is a FREE virtual summit themed around the idea of Growth. What does it take to grow anything or an idea into a thing as a person of kinky, curly, afro-textured hair. We are obsessed with the glow up and this event promises to EMPOWER you to step into your POWER, live your dream BOLDLY and still make 2020 the year of 20-plenty.
This August we are transforming your Saturday mornings into power sessions with some dynamic leaders changing the narratives of women in Africa. We have chosen themes that impact every area of our daily lives! The pandemic has amplified our stressors and we hope to provide you with the necessary tools to still be the best you.
We will talk about making money moves, give you tips on how to care for your hair, skin and overall wellness. The Summit ends with an EMPOWERMENT session which we hope will ignite the hope that drew dim, thus helping you rewrite your story with words that light up your soul purpose, beauty, and destiny to become your ancestors wildest dream.

Felicia Leatherwood is the founder of Loving Your Hair. With over 26 years of experience and is considered 1 of the world’s leading celebrity stylist, Issa Rae, Ava Duvernay are but a few. She is also a renowned inspirational beauty speaker with regard to natural hair.
Dr Sindi was born and bred in Harare, Zimbabwe. Dr Sindi is “multi-passioned” with medicine as her first love, radio broadcasting her second love and a combination of social media and writing a close third.
