I am so happy I found her! I’ve been looking at many youtube videos and almost all of them I couldn’t relate to; some had hair that was too long or too short and it was so frustrating. I’m happy because even though I may not have the same hair texture or thickness, I do share the same length. Thank you so much this was inspiring:)

Absolutely love the message at the end of the tutorial. I have 4b coarse hair and have basically refused to wear it out (I only wear braids) because I didn’t know how to do any of these amazing styles; this is going to change though. With your simple tutorials, I am looking forward to trying some styles and wearing my hair out. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again – I have to get bobby pins though lol!

What a lovely comment, thank you. Bobby pins will be your best friends when it comes to styling! Please send me a photo if you do any of these styles, I love getting such feedback πŸ™‚

Heyy there, thanks for posting this vid, I really like this hair style. Could you please show how to do the flat twists? Woo, thankyou πŸ™‚ Keep it up

I am so glad I found your channel. My hair is about the same length as yours, and I started to get tired of the same styles. I needed some cute, and work appropriate style ideas, and you have some good styles for that. YAY! πŸ™‚

  7. MyFroandITV says:

Hi Lynn, thanks for your comment! Please watch my 30 Days, 30 Updos: The Basics intro video for a detailed explanation on how to do it πŸ˜‰

You’re hair is so pretty and I love this hairstyle! πŸ™‚ You’re hair length and texture are very similar to mine (maybe a little longer lol). Just like CoCoaPuff26, I have been getting tired of the same styles everyday. Thanks for the videos!!! πŸ™‚

My darling i cant wait for the other updos :)) i have never been so hooked on a youtube channel you are just the best πŸ˜‰

I agree! Once your hair start getting longer it becomes more to handle rather than just getting up and going when it was real short. I just found her tonight and lord knows I feel like I’ve been saved from the boring afro look everyday.

  13. bessielb says:

You are a natural do queen! My hair texture is a 4c and I feel like since it became medium length I had nothing to do with it. I am tired of the afro look and your styles are simple and quick which is perfect for me. I’ve been rescued from not knowing what to do with my hair.

Thank you!! You just saved me from having to wear a wig tomorrow! Ive been looking for extension free styling options and you’re the only person on here that I can actually do the styles. I’d like to ditch extensions for good if possible. I did a variation of this tonight and I hope its still good tomorrow morning lol. I cant find you on instagram so i’ll tag you on fb, hopefully I do you justice. Also, I grew up in Botss (from Zambia), and you just make me think of home with your SA flare :D.

Can I jut say? A million thanks and a big hug to you. Thank you for all the time and care you took to help out true 4c girls with yet-to-be-long-hair like me πŸ™‚ You rock!

  16. pearlsamb82 says:

You are so right! I watched your video first, then the other one. I wouldn’t have thought I could do the other one either, mainly because of my length. But your “tuck the back down with the bobby pins” method gives me hope. Your version turned out great! Thanks so much for helping out myself, brown eyed and the others waiting for that “yet-to-be-long-hair!”

  17. Ordonna R says:

I am so glad I found this! My hair is exactly this length and finding videos of cute styles with the same length are extremely HARD to find. Also I’ve never tried the double flat twist. I will try to post new styles on my ig page and videos. BIG thanks! Your styles areΒ awesome!

  18. Zoopath says:

I loved this. I have a mixture of type 4 hair with 4c at the crown which often gives me more volume at the crown than I want. Your video is the first one that actually addresses that styling issue. Thank you so much.

  19. Julienne S says:

Thank you thank you thank you for posting this!!! I’m going to try my beat and do each hairstyle that you do for the next 30/days. Out of everyone on YouTube I found your video the easiest to follow and understand!! πŸ™‚ thank you so much!
